2To know wisdom and instruction,
to understand words of insight,
3to receive instruction in wise dealing,
in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4to give prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6to understand a proverb and a saying,
the words of the wise and their riddles.
7The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.
This year I want to do something I am ashamed to admit...but here goes. I am going to make a goal and attempt to accomplish it this year. I am not sure if it will take me a whole year, nor am I sure if it may even take longer. All I know is that I want to begin a new chapter in my life that involves a beginning and an end. So my goal is to understand the parables of Jesus written in Scripture. The Bible is a goldmind to those who dive into it and seek it out. And so here I begin my journey through the precious pages of God's word to find wisdom and instruction!
